Roll-Off Dumpster Rentals

Rent a Roll-Off

For jobs big and small. Delivered fast and swapped on time.

How It Works

Rent a dumpster at competitive rates. Keep it for as long as you need, and get it swapped exactly when you need.

When we haul, we do it on-time. If it's on-call, we handle it same day, within 48 hours at the slowest. We don't run a call center either. When you call Mashed for a swap, a real person answers and gets you scheduled. Hauling is priced 100% transparently. There are no environmental or administrative surcharges for non-hazardous waste.

This may be the waste industry, but our hauling contracts are clean. That means obvious 30-60 day termination clauses, no "hidden" renewals, and no new contracts for seasonality or changes in your operation. As a renter and hauler, we adjust to your needs.

Our dumpsters are built for projects and materials from any site: drywall, construction materials, kitchen remodels, bathroom updates, flooring replacement, whole-house projects, office buildings, retail spaces, warehouses, business relocations, job site debris, concrete, and more.

More efficient dumpsters

When you rent with us, we can mash your trash down too so you never pay to haul partially full bins.

We have a size for that.

10 Yard Dumpster (Lowboy)

Dimensions:

12' L × 8' W × 2' H

Best For:

Concrete and asphalt removal, small demolition projects, foundation work, stone and gravel cleanup, driveway tear-outs

15 Yard Dumpster

Dimensions:

14' L × 7.5' W × 4' H

Best For:

Garage/attic cleanouts, single-room remodels, roofing tear-offs, estate cleanouts

Pro Tip:

This is the sweet spot for mid-size residential jobs. It fits comfortably in most driveways with enough room for a full single-room renovation or cleanout. Doing a kitchen or bathroom remodel? The 15 Yard handles cabinets, countertops, flooring, and drywall from a typical single-room gut without needing a bigger container.

20 Yard Dumpster (Short)

Dimensions:

14' L × 7.5' W × 6' H

Best For:

Multi-room renovations, large cleanouts, tight driveways and cul-de-sacs.

Pro Tip:

If your driveway is under 20 feet or you're working in a neighborhood with tight lots, the Short 20 gives you the same capacity as the Long without eating up your entire driveway.

20 Yard Dumpster (Long)

Dimensions:

22' L × 7.5' W × 4' H

Best For:

Roofing tear-offs, stone and concrete removal, mid-size renovations

Pro Tip:

Same length as our 30 Yard with shorter walls—easier to load heavy materials and a great fit when a 30 is more container than you need. Lower walls mean you're tossing roofing shingles and stone over 4 feet instead of 5.5. Your back will thank you.

30 Yard Dumpster

Dimensions:

22' L × 7.5' W × 5.5' H

Best For:

Whole-house remodels, new construction, commercial renovations, multi-unit turnovers

Pro Tip:

The contractor's go-to for mid-to-large jobs. 50% more volume than a 20 Yard means fewer swap-outs and less downtime on your site.

40 Yard Dumpster

Dimensions:

22' L × 8' W × 7' H

Best For:

Manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, dock door placement, logistics operations. Some construction.

Pro Tip:

Our highest-volume container. The 7-foot walls make it a natural fit at dock doors where forklifts and equipment handle the loading. If your crew is loading by hand on a job site, the 30 Yard is probably the better call. The 40 shines where machinery does the work.

Bins for projects of any size

Whichever volume of waste you're working with, we've got a dumpster that can handle it. Rent 20, 30, and 40-cubic yard dumpsters.

Everything you need to know about

Roll-Off Dumpster Rentals

What is a roll-off dumpster?

It’s a big, open-top dumpster for heavy-duty cleanups—construction, demo, renovations, all of it. We drop it off, you fill it up, we haul it away. Simple as that. Mashed offers them in sizes ranging from 10 yards to 40 yards. They’re ideal for manufacturers, commercial or residential renovations, construction and demolition firms, and environmental waste. The term “roll-off” comes from how they are delivered. They are rolled off the back of a truck or trailer onto the ground.

Why would I rent a dumpster?

If you’ve got more waste than your regular bins can handle, this is the best way to handle it. Roll-offs give you one place to throw everything—no piles, no multiple trips, no mess. They’re ideal for home or business construction projects, remodeling, cleanups and junk removal, construction debris, or post-disaster cleanup. With Mashed, you get flexible rental periods and seamless compliance with local regulations.

What size dumpsters can I rent and which ones do I need?

It depends on what and how much you’re tossing, but when in doubt—go bigger. Running out of space always costs more than having extra. We offer bins sized 10 yards to 40 yards, which covers 95% of all jobs. Give us a call or get in touch with us and we’ll help select which size best fits your needs.

How much does it cost to rent a roll off dumpster?

Pricing depends on your location, dumpster size, how long you need it, and what you’re throwing away. Heavier debris, longer rentals, and city fees can all push the price up. If you’re looking for ways to save on your project, mobile compaction is a great way to reduce roll-off costs. We compact your trash on site so you don’t have to haul as often. Learn more about mobile compaction.

Which items can and can’t go in a dumpster?

Most stuff is fair game: construction debris, junk, furniture, yard waste, you name it. What you can’t toss is hazardous materials like chemicals, batteries, or anything flammable. When in doubt, we recommend confirming with us or your municipality—the fines aren’t worth the guessing game.

Do roll-offs have weight limits?

Yes, every dumpster has a limit. It’s usually somewhere between 2–10 tons (4K - 20K pounds) depending on dumpster size and the materials you’re tossing.

How is hazardous waste managed?

That’s a different process than “traditional” waste. Hazardous and specialized waste needs to be handled separately, with the right process and compliance in place. We’ll point you in the right direction so it’s done safely and legally.
